Can i have lasik or prk surgery?

I'm 17 years old turning 18 in a few months. I don't have healthy eyes because my perception is too high for my normal age. I have -8.00 on my right and -7.50 on my left. I''ve been told that i'm at risk for glaucoma. I do see floaters. Can I still be a candidate for these surgeries?
